Chicago South Pond Family Portraits

I couldn't of asked for a better day to meet the H family in one of my favorite locations, South Pond. We started out on the kissing bridge right outside Lincoln Park Zoo to capture some of my favorite Chicago skyline shots. Then we headed down the South pond to capture the kids racing and playing. The { K Family}

I was so excited to come meet miss L. She was two months old for our session and was filled with smiles. It was quite a rainy spring day so we stayed inside for our shoot which provided some great dramatic light that only can happen on days like that. There is always a silver lining to any kind of light I have never seen such a smiley two month old! We had such a great time at our shoot and mom and dad were just awesome to work with!

Joseph + Christine Expecting

I had a call from Joe a few weeks ago very excited to inquire about a shoot for him and his wife and high-school sweet-heart who are expecting a baby girl in early 2015! When I got there Christine greeted me at the door and was just so excited about the shoot as Joe was! There is nothing more I love when both of my subjects are just as into taking photos as I am in taking them! We had such a blast together and got some beautiful images of her perfect baby bump! I can't wait to meet the baby when she comes in a few months! I am sure she will be just as photogenic as her parents!

Summer Outdoor Newborn Photos

Lauren contacted me about taking some photos of her newest addition and I was so happy to meet them at their beautiful home so capture this little man with his two proud sisters. The girls loved holding him and gushing over how cute he is! What a perfect age for both of them to have a new sibling!

Chicago Family Lifestyle Photo Session

I was excited to hear from the K family again this year, I had met them last year from the referral of a photographer friend of mine! It was miss J's one year mark and I was happy to capture her in her brand new home! They had just moved a little over a week ago and their new home was just gorgeous. Now I knew at the end of this shoot that I wanted to do something messy! So I suggested maybe I bring some watermelon with me for the very end of the shoot, and it was a hit I must say! Who needs cake when you have a huge watermelon slice! Enjoy this peek at their shoot from this past saturday.
