Matthew gave me a ring looking for a newborn session and we had such a wonderful time at our lifestyle newborn session at their Huntley home. We started with some brunch and then moved to their room, living room, and a few outside too! What an adorable family, I had such a wonderful time working with them all and can’t wait to see them again!

I was super excited when Jessica reached out to me as we went to school together from K-8th grade at St.Alexanders in Palos Heights. Chicago Newborn Lifestyle Family Photography Shoot
At-home lifestyle sessions are my favorite way to capture newborns. A few great places to shoot in your home would be your bedroom, living room, and nursery. I know how much time you have spent preparing the nursery, so why not capture that in photos as well. Typically I like to book my newborn clients in the first 10 days, but with lifestyle sessions, there is a little more flexibility incase you need to wait for whatever reason.
This little guy and his family may look familiar to you, as I just posted his one-year session at my studio a few weeks ago. He is in my baby plan. The baby plan that comes with 4 sessions you can use over a 2 year period, so feel free to inquire about that if you have a newborn at home!
Lifestyle Newborn Photo Session
So today I thought I would share some of the photos I recently did for my cousin Melanie, her husband Michael and her beautiful baby girl Juliette. She is the first one in our family to have a baby among us “kids”. I was so happy to be able to capture these for them at their amazing apartment in Milwaukee this February. One of my favorite photos was Juliette all wrapped up with a locket on top of her swaddle with photos of both of her grandma’s on it. I know our grandma would have been so ecstatic to be a great-grandma.
Winfield Lifestyle Newborn Session
I was so flattered to be asked to photograph my boyfriends sister's new baby Cooper. Cooper did a great job for his first photo session and even gave a little smile when he was in his bears attire. I am thinking he is already a fan like his mom and dad are. I love photographing newborns in a lifestyle approach without all the heavy posing. Take a look at some of their session here!
The { K Family}
I was so excited to come meet miss L. She was two months old for our session and was filled with smiles. It was quite a rainy spring day so we stayed inside for our shoot which provided some great dramatic light that only can happen on days like that. There is always a silver lining to any kind of light I have never seen such a smiley two month old! We had such a great time at our shoot and mom and dad were just awesome to work with!
Summer Outdoor Newborn Photos
Lauren contacted me about taking some photos of her newest addition and I was so happy to meet them at their beautiful home so capture this little man with his two proud sisters. The girls loved holding him and gushing over how cute he is! What a perfect age for both of them to have a new sibling!
